Bathroom Update Week 4: One Room Challenge

I had a lot of late nights this week at my 9-5 and a fun, but busy weekend, so things were a little slow during week 4 of the #oneroomchallenge. I did a little shopping for some wall décor, spray paint, and faucets. I have looked high and low for the right faucets and finally found some that were the perfect color and in stock! It's so hard to find anything in stock right now.

This week started the spray paint frenzy! I can spray paint something from the thrift store all week but hate to spray paint something brand new. I loved the vanity lights I got but the gold was a little too bronze so I had to spray paint them (see below). The color turned out perfect and is so much softer, it was worth the small risk!

I'm planning to take Friday off work to start pulling things together in the bathroom. This will be a big week...wall paint, vanity install, light install, and starting on the shower! This challenge is only 8 weeks, which is actually a pretty short amount of time for someone who works full time and lives 45 minutes away from the project space. Rome wasn't built in a day, right? I can beat myself up for not having a ton of updates this week or celebrate the baby steps of progress - I'll choose the latter!

Oh, and here's your weekly reminder to follow along with the rest of the ORC participants at www.oneroomchallenge.com/orc-blog! Until next week ;)
